20+ Years of Experience Walking Alongside People Through Change

“People carry an inner strength and light that can be rediscovered even after hardship. My goal is to help you find yours.”

Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, I’ve spent more than two decades supporting adults through some of life’s most difficult moments — from mental health struggles and addiction recovery to grief, trauma, and major life transitions.

I’m currently completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University, building on an undergraduate background in psychology and years of hands-on experience in mental health and addictions. My approach draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing — blended into a style that is warm, direct, and deeply client-centred.

Outside of my practice, I’m an active member of Sault Ste. Marie’s arts and theatre community — a Canadian acrylic painter, actor, and writer. I believe creativity and healing go hand in hand, and I bring that philosophy into my work with every client.

How It Works

What to Expect When You Reach Out

Your first session is relaxed, conversational, and completely judgment-free. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out before we talk. You just need to show up. We’ll start by getting to know each other. I’ll ask about what brought you here, what’s been going on, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together.

ART THERAPY

I Can Also Help You Express Yourself Through Art

Art taught me something that years of study confirmed: not every emotion has words. Some things live deeper than language: in the body, in colour, in the instinct to make a mark on a blank canvas. For many people, especially those who have spent years trying to talk their way through pain, picking up a brush can unlock something entirely new.
